Connect

Eagle Creek Church offers many ways for members and visitors to connect. Along with special events throughout the year, we also offer regular activities.

Newcomers’ reception.

The best way to learn if Eagle Creek is right for you is to attend a newcomers’ reception. Scheduled throughout the year, these informal after-church sessions allow you to hear from Pastor Matt about our history, what's coming up next and how you can get connected. This is also your opportunity to ask questions, meet the other staff and enjoy some snacks. Childcare is provided.

Membership classes.

We welcome people from all faith backgrounds and also new believers into membership. Short orientation classes run several times a year. You’ll connect with church staff and explore what it means to be a member.

Small groups.

We believe strong churches are built on a foundation of personal relationships - the kind that strengthen in a faith and fellowship environment. Small groups give us that way to connect. Groups meet throughout the week in homes across the community. The format is typically a one-hour Bible study with 6-12 people, followed by dessert and conversation. Groups meet for three trimesters, with breaks summer and Christmas breaks.

Opportunities to serve.

Passing out cookies at Wal-Mart. Painting a teen center’s rec room. Packing boxes with gifts for kids around the world. These are just some of our past service activities. We get outside the church walls to share our faith in a friendly, personal way.

We look for people to help with short- or long-term projects – either leading efforts or joining a team. New activities get added to each month. If you know a special family in need, let us know.

Members tell us it’s the activities, special events and community outreach, that jumpstart church friendships. Call the office at 816-246-5005 or visit our calendar for more details.

If you live in the Lees Summit area and want a church where you can connect to God and others, visit Eagle Creek this Sunday!
