It's more than just another thing to do. It's a place for students to connect in a fun atmosphere. The Creek, for middle and senior high students, helps teens learn how to live a Biblical Christian life in a relevant way. Teens build genuine friendships, while learning about issues they face.

The Creek’s service for 7th through 12th graders meets Tuesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Community Church in Lees Summit. Students are encouraged to bring friends to this high-energy service with relevant, Biblically based messages. Special activities for youth are also planned throughout the year. Creekside Kids, our action-packed Sunday service for kindergarten through 6th grade students, lets kids be kids. We believe learning God’s word is fun – and sometimes loud and messy!

Through games, kid-friendly music, interactive Bible stories, skits, hands-on activities, videos and science experiments, kids learn in a way that speaks just to them. While parents attend their service, they know their kids are safe, having fun and learning about the love of Christ. Kids in 4th through 6th grade can participate in Leaders in Training. Creekside Jr., for ages 3 ­ 5, is the pint-sized version of our popular elementary program. Staffed by teachers with the passion and patience for small children, it offers fun activities, music and more each Sunday. Enter Creekside Jr. here!

Tadpole Park is for infants and children through age 2. In a clean, secure, colorful environment, children are cared for by staff members adept at changing diapers and tending to our littlest members’ needs. Enter Tadpole Park here!

Our Awana program, for kindergarten through 6th graders, meets Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Lakeland Community Church in Lees Summit. Activities include Bible memorization and games. Enter Awana here!
