After a number of years of ministry experience in Illinois and California, Matt and his wife, Sheri, moved back to Lees Summit, Matt’s hometown area, in 2004. By February of the next year, they started Eagle Creek Church. Matt is committed to helping people become the growing and giving Christians God created everyone to be.

In his free time, Matt enjoys playing golf at least twice annually, doing home projects, playing the piano and reading. He loves playing sports (wrestling is a favorite) with his four children and enjoys reading them bed-time stories. Matt looks forward to regular date nights with Sheri.

Mike and Claire LaBerge have moved from Scotland to join the Eagle Creek team. Mike is from Central Illinois and moved to Scotland in 2005 to start a youth discipleship program. In that time he met Claire (who is Scottish) and they helped to plant a church in Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. Mike oversees small groups and our local and international outreach programs at ECC. Mike and Claire have a 2 year old little girl named Bailee and a newborn son called Arran.

Brian and Alicia Rose are both Masters Commission Graduates who have moved from the San Diego area to join the vision of ECC. He has previously been a College Pastor, Creative Arts Director, Student Ministries Director, and traveled around speaking and leading worship for a number of years. He recently published his first book, life re.defined, and released his second worship album, too.

Brian's greatest joy and ministry is to his family. He has four kids, Kaitlyn, Makayla, Riley and Brooklyn. Brian and Alicia have a deep passion to reach the world for Jesus and be a voice for social justice issues. Brian is the Worship Arts Pastor who oversees all elements of Creative Arts as well as leads our Youth Ministry.

Sheri has more than ten years experience working with children of all ages in New Mexico, Chicago, California and now Lees Summit, Missouri. Sheri’s philosophy for the children's ministries at Eagle Creek Church is simple: Kids shouldn’t be bored by church. Excitedly listening and participating, they will learn far more about faith and will come back excited each week. Sheri’s time away from ECC is spent with her family. She enjoys living in a family-friendly neighborhood and cherishes those nights spent with friends and their children.
