FACILITIES MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION


Department: Operations

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Manage all contractors for facilities work, building maintenance, inspections and lawn maintenance.

  • Perform repairs: drywall, paint, building maintenance (bulbs, ceiling tiles, ect.) carpentry.

  • Basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing knowledge.

  • Perform maintenance to bushes, shrubs beds, and perform weed control in beds and parking areas.

  • Assist with stage build outs 1-2 times a year.

  • Coordinate opening and closing for all church services, community groups and events to ensure set – up, tear down, and custodial work is done based on the master calendar.

  • Set up/ take down baptism pool.

  • Direct and perform custodial services throughout the week. (Our custodial contractor cleans entire building once a week). Spot clean carpet, chairs, ect.

  • Set measurable & time specific goals for your areas of responsibility.

  • Build, train, love, and grow a team of facilities volunteers.

  • Complete weekly and monthly metrics for your team.

COMPENSATION & OTHER DETAILS

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Status: FULL TIME

  • Schedule: Sunday 7-1 (attend a church service with your family),

Mon. & Tues. 7-4, Wed. 1-9:30, Thurs. 8-5. Occasional split day/evening schedules and a day swap to Friday or Saturday depending on events and community groups season.
