MEET OUR PASTORS
AT EAGLE CREEK CHURCH

Matt & Sheri Harris
Founding Pastors
Pastor Matt Harris has been leading Eagle Creek Church since founding it with his wife Sheri in 2004. What started as a young family’s leap of faith has grown into a thriving church community that spans multiple locations across the Kansas City area.
Matt is known for his straightforward, authentic approach to preaching God’s Word. He doesn’t shy away from difficult topics, but he delivers truth with genuine compassion and care. People appreciate that he’s real, he speaks directly about life’s challenges while pointing them toward hope and transformation in Christ.
His heart is simple: to help people become who God created them to be. Whether someone is exploring faith for the first time or has been walking with God for years, Matt creates space for honest questions and real growth.
Sheri brings her own special gift to Eagle Creek’s culture. She has an incredible ability to connect with people personally, remembering their stories and making everyone feel like family. Together, Matt and Sheri have built a church where people don’t just attend, they belong.
With over 30 years in ministry, Matt remains passionate about seeing lives changed through authentic community, biblical teaching, and genuine relationships. At Eagle Creek, people discover a family where they can grow in their faith, discover their purpose and make a difference.

Tyler & Ashley Jordan
Warrensburg Campus
Pastors
Pastor Tyler and Ashley have been with Eagle Creek Church since 2022, but have been serving together in ministry for 12 years. After moving to Warrensburg in December of 2022 and launching the Warrensburg Campus in January of 2023, their hearts have been fully set on reaching the people of Johnson County! They are committed to building ECC Warrensburg to be a life-giving church that leads families to leave a legacy for generations to come.
Tyler and Ashley understand that the most valuable asset they have to give is themselves and their time. They lead relationally and desire to personally connect with the people of ECC Warrensburg as much as possible. Their two kids - Kennedy and Cale - have learned to love any time other families or young adults come to the house, and they genuinely look forward to being at church each Sunday morning.
